I found some really interesting artist when I was learning about performance in my art history class last semester, I think you should check them out too!

Orlan is neat, she is French and did plastic surgery on herself to change her image and filmed them as the performance.

ok, so I figured it out. When we were talking about Marina Ambrovic I said something about Shamanism as well as two artists breathing one breath together. Well it was Marina and her partner at the time Ulay! The piece was called "Death Self". Also a piece that they did together that had a video was pretty neat.
